Stiles Stilinski

147 pounds of sarcasm and good intentions

Hey there! I'm Stiles and you are... probably lost. Anyway, I'm 16 and I live in Beacon Hills. Oh and I'm on the Lacrosse Team. Sort of. I mean, I played once and I wasn't bad, so now I'm kind of first line.
My dad is the town's Sheriff and we should probably talk about something other than that.
I know a lot of werewolves. Yeah, right, werewolves don't exist. Just tell yourself that. i recently learned that if you believe something very hard you can make it happen. Actually i think that power is limited to certain things, but I won't stop you from trying.
What else is there to say? My life has become a bizarre chain of crazy since I don't know when. Oh right, since I met Derek Hale. Who is, of course, also a werewolf. I'm a human, by the way and I'm intend to stay. At least i think I am. For now. I think nothing is certain anymore.

Merry Christmas to… who are you? || Stiles & Toby

lock-thedoor:

Toby nodded his head at the boy. “I’ll show you to the door,” he said, standing up. It wasn’t that he was trying to be hostile with the boy, he simply wanted to be able to lock the door once he was gone. “I’ll be sure to tell Spencer that you came around, and I’m sure she’ll get the information about the double date to you as soon as possible,” he added as they walked to the door. “It was nice to meet you, Stiles,” Toby said politely, hoping to appear to be less hostile.

Oh, yes, okay, sure.”, Stiles frowned and couldn’t deny he felt like Toby was rushing to get him out when he stood from the couch. He could, however, understand it. They’d meet again, probably soon, and they would have other people to help them carry a conversation. Or, more precisely, they would have Spencer, because Stiles couldn’t imagine that Derek would be very happy and talkative.
He walked with him towards the door, nodding along his explanations as to how Spencer would get in touch with him and stopped when he reached it.
“Nice to meet you too, Toby.” Stiles raised a hand and pointed to him as if to make sure Toby got that he meant him. “I’ll…”, he started, pointing both his thumbs towards the door before opening it and slipping out. “See you then.”
A quick, last wave and Stiles was gone, on his way to his jeep.

Merry Christmas to… who are you? || Stiles & Toby

lock-thedoor:

Toby decided to drop the Peter thing, Stiles was making it clear that he didn’t want to talk about it. “I’ll make sure Spencer gets in touch about it,” he told the boy, wondering what else he could say, he really had no idea. “She’ll probably come up with something nice, she knows the town better than I, since she’s been here longer,” he said. He didn’t want to sound too unenthusiastic about it, since it had been his idea, even if it had initially been a joke.

Awesome, thanks.”, Stiles replied, while thinking this was all kinds of not awesome. “I hope she will, I have literally no idea what to do.”
Stiles didn’t really think about how much he sounded like he wasn’t actually looking forward to this. It didn’t seem like Spencer was back anytime soon and he felt an awkward silence fall between them. “I think I probably should get going. You tell Spencer I was here and I’ll see you two then?”

Falling in love and off rooftops || Stiles, Derek & Scott

fullmooniscoming:

Scott didn’t mean to listen to their conversation because he thought people deserved intimacy and eavesdropping on what they were talking about wasn’t very nice of him. He wouldn’t want others listening to his conversations either. So when he heard Derek’s first words and the tension accompanying them, he shut down his senses, deciding it was the best thing he could do. Scott sat down on the front steps, collecting a twig from the ground and drawing circles in the dust. He knew it was probably best for everyone if he went home and let the two of them have their fun time together. He wouldn’t mind, he would understand.

He was aware of the fact that things between him and the Alpha were delicate, both of them having a contribution to it, so he didn’t want to add something new to the pile of things-you-didn’t-want-to-hear-from-Derek. Scott knew for sure he wasn’t Derek’s favorite after he used him to bring Gerard down, but Derek wasn’t his favorite either.

Though Scott was going to try and keep things light, for the sake of his best friend. Things were looking pretty serious between the two of them and Scott knew, more than anyone, how bad it could be if someone was against your relationship. So he decided being polite was the right way of acting around Derek. Not provoking him nor pissing him off in any way which was probably inevitable because once you get on Derek’s long black list, there’s no way out. But he was going to give his best anyway.

He was getting to his feet, brushing the dust off his jeans, ready to leave, when he heard Stiles run down the stairs, followed by the creak made by the door being opened with a bit too much enthusiasm. Scott turned around and put on his best smile, trying to look as less uncomfortable as ever. “Hey buddy! A surprise? For me? Awesome! What is it?” Scott got inside the house and looked around. He knew the surprise was probably Derek, but he couldn’t find it in his heart to take this little pleasure from Stiles. He could bet having a werewolf as a best friend wasn’t much fun because you couldn’t surprise him nor scare him. “Are we going to stay in the living room or in your bedroom? Either way, I’m cool with it.”

Stiles knew this wasn’t going to be easy. He had no illusion about it and he didn’t think it would help him if he lied to himself about it. There was a high possibility that it wouldn’t work at all and least one of them would be storming off, but he would be damned if he couldn’t at least admit he had tried at the end of the day.
“Yes, a surprise. Man, will you be surprised by that surprise.”, Stiles rambled while closing the door behind Scott and before turning towards him, lips pressed together and eyebrows raised. There was probably no use in not telling him right away. “Derek is kind of here, too. But…”, he raised his hands, palms facing his best friend, “… no reason to go, we can all have a nice day. Together. A nice day together, doing nice things.”
Stiles smiled and nodded, thinking that he probably didn’t look very convincing and that Scott maybe could sense he was nervous anyway.

Stiles pushed himself off the door and walked towards the stairs, nodding while passing Scott to signal him to follow. “We can go upstairs first, Derek is waiting there for us.”
He went up slowly, but once he heard Scott’s footsteps behind him he picked up the pace and made his way to his door. He put his hand onto the handle of the door and pushed it down after taking a deep breath. “We’re here!”
Just before he could see Derek still sitting in his room he thought of how terrible it would have been if he actually had decided to bolt and run away on him.

Merry Christmas to… who are you? || Stiles & Toby

lock-thedoor:

Toby smiled when he said he wasn’t friends with Peter. “Do you know what he’s like?” he asked he boy in front of him. “I just ask because Spencer seemed pretty, well, scared of telling him about us,” he told the boy. “Because if he’s dangerous, then I’d rather it be me talk to him, and leave Spencer out of it completely,” he said. He really didn’t like the idea that Spencer could have a thing with someone dangerous, especially when he hadn’t been around to protect her.

Toby raised an eyebrow, he really didn’t think that Stiles would have gone along with the double date idea, but apparently it would be awesome. “I guess I’m going to run it by Spencer then,” he said. “I guess you two could sort out the details of it, and I’ll just show up. I’m not normally the double date type, and Spencer is a much better orgniser than I am, so yeah, I’ll leave this one to her,” he told the boy. He wasn’t sure how comfortable he would be on this double date, but he had to make an effort to get to know Spencer’s new friends. And Stiles didn’t actually seem that bad.

Obviously Toby took it positively if you told him you were not friends with Peter, judging by the responding smile on his face. “Yah, I know what he’s like…” Stiles voice trailed off towards the end of the sentence, while his mind went to how Peter was like and how he still didn’t and probably never would trust him. When Toby explained why he had asked Stiles wished he hadn’t answered so quickly. He couldn’t just tell him that Peter was indeed not to be trusted and potentially dangerous, definitely insane and creepy. He could imagine Spencer being hesitant to tell Toby about Peter for more than just that one reason. Maybe Toby didn’t even know how old Peter was.
“I think Spencer can handle pretty well.” That was something he could tell and Stiles dearly hoped it would be enough for Toby. Spencer seemed to have handled Peter so far. The thing was just that Stiles still believed the werewolf might snap on her as well, no matter how much Spencer didn’t, especially when she had a new old boyfriend by her side.

“Okay.”, Stiles nodded and pressed his lips together, “You run it by Spencer and I will run it by Derek.” Stiles added who will probably kill me for this in his mind. Derek would probably not be any more thrilled than he was himself.
I guess you two could sort out the details of it, and I’ll just show up. I’m not normally the double date type, and Spencer is a much better organizer than I am, so yeah, I’ll leave this one to her.
Stiles opened his mouth to answer but just managed a drawn out “Uh…” while processing what he just had heard. Toby wasn’t the double date type and he wasn’t sure if he should laugh or cry at that revelation. Did that mean Toby wasn’t really all that interested in that event either? “Sure… we should just let Spencer handle that and she can contact me then. She has my number, obviously.”
It was probably to late to back out of this. That hadn’t gone down as he had planned at all.

P.S. I love you (Valentine’s Day) || Derek & Stiles

aalphaderekhale:

The short moment of surprise on Stiles’s face when Derek opened the door before he even got the chance was adorable. A faint smiles crawled upon Derek’s lips as he leaned against the door frame, eyes fixed on his visitor. “Late is late,” he said even though he really didn’t care about those two minutes. If he did, he’d be the biggest hypocrite in the history of humanity since he usually always was late or just showed up whenever he felt like it, without even announcing himself first.

The amusement didn’t fade when Stiles started to bring up arguments for being let in. Derek watched him, let his eyes wander over every little detail on his face. His now grown out hair, the soft smile on his lips that was very close to being smug, the cute little moles on his cheeks, his bright, big brown eyes..
Derek had to fight back the urge to grab Stiles immediately and kiss him. A soft chuckles escaped him and he opened the door just a little bit wider - but not wide enough to let Stiles take a look inside. “That’s probably true. You’re more consistent when it comes to being annoying.”

Derek reached out and put a hand to Stiles’s neck to pull him closer. Without giving him much time to process he sealed his lips in a deep and long kiss. Even now Derek’s heart still beat faster for a little while when he kissed Stiles. Without breaking away he pulled him inside and turned them so Stiles’s back was facing the inside of the apartment and Stiles couldn’t see the surprise yet. Derek kicked the door close behind him and wrapped his arms around Stiles’ waist. The roses in his hand made a soft rustling noise when they were pressed against Stiles’s hoodie and Derek remembered that he was still holding them.

He broke the kiss, leaned back in for a quick last taste of Stiles’s lips and pulled away a little so he could hold the roses in front of Stiles. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” he said, feeling a little awkward and off but also excited. Tonight was meant to make Stiles forgive him the Christmas disappointment and he just really wanted him to enjoy this.

Stiles wasn’t sure there was a way in which Derek could have looked more smug about himself than by leaning against the frame of his door, blocking Stiles way inside as well as his vision, a small, self-satisfied smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. Maybe he could have if he had chosen to fold his arms in front of his chest. If only it had been even a little unbecoming on him. It was attractive in a way and Stiles couldn’t even say he didn’t enjoy times like this between them.
He tipped his head forward a little and raised his eyebrows, while he stared back at Derek, unwilling to back down and definitely unwilling to give in. “No, definitely not.”
It was pretty obvious to Stiles that Derek didn’t care about the two minutes he had been late, so this was all just for fun. But even if it was for fun, that didn’t mean that Stiles couldn’t win this and he would try. It wasn’t like Derek once had been two weeks late and Stiles still had forgiven him.

Derek looked outright amused at the end of his small list of reasons he should be inside the loft and not be standing in front of it. It felt good to amuse Derek and to actually be able to raise his mood, even up to levels that he thought Derek might just have forgotten for a moment how joyless his life probably used to be. It wasn’t that he was someone else now. Stiles was sure he wouldn’t like if Derek became someone else. He was just a little happier and that was a good thing in his book.
“There are more reasons, but I think you can come up with a few of your own.”, Stiles added, watching Derek as his eyes moved, seemingly wandering over his features. It was hard to tell what exactly he was looking at and harder to guess why, but Stiles didn’t need to know either of that to use it. “If you like what you’re staring at you should let me in and you can watch it all night., Stiles grinned, licked over his lips in a deliberately slow movement and shrugged, “Or take a picture if you don’t and hug your phone in the giant, lonely loft of yours while I leave.”

Derek opened the door a bit, but not enough for Stiles to get in or even just look inside, but he was still not aware of the fact that Derek was actively keeping him from looking inside. It seemed to be part of the game of don’t let Stiles in they were playing and not meant to hide something from him and he wasn’t expecting something that would have been needed to be hidden.

Stiles took a step closer to Derek, reducing the space left between them by a great deal, while his eyes stayed fixed on the werewolf’s face.

Stiles took a step closer until he was right before Derek, his eyes fixed on his face.
That’s probably true. You’re more consistent when it comes to being annoying.
Stiles opened his mouth slightly and cocked his head, furrowing his eyebrows slightly, looking at Derek in silent outrage. Instead of answering he pressed his lips together and tried his best to glare.

The expression on Stiles’ face changed instantly when Derek’s hand fell onto his skin, heavy and warm, his fingers wrapping around the back and side of his neck. He tugged lightly and Stiles moved forward without even thinking about it, craving to get closer, and his eyes slid closed even before their lips met and when they did everything else didn’t seem to matter for a long, long moment.
Stiles had feared it would stop to be exciting and feel this thrilling after a while, but either it just didn’t or it hadn’t been long enough that Derek and he were able to just kiss each other whenever they so desired. His heart still sped up a bit and there was a tingling feeling in his gut, his mood almost instantly increasing. It was like someone just pulled a warm blanket around him and made him forget about the world outside.
Stiles hand slipped from where it was still holding onto the strap of his backpack and came to rest on Derek’s side, above the surprisingly soft shirt. He curled his fingers, fingertips scraping over his shirt, catching in the fabric and pushing at his skin. He pulling softly so he could actually grab at the shirt and held on.
He was reaching out with the second hand when he remembered that he was still holding the box of chocolates with it and stopped midair before just trying to wrap his arm around Derek.

Stiles sucked in air sharply, not having anticipated that he would get pulled, and stumbled inside, bumping chests with Derek. He tried to stay as close to him as this incident had brought them, while at the same time trying not to stumble again when Derek turned them around. The whole time he hadn’t bothered opening his eyes or breaking the kiss they were sharing. Derek wouldn’t let him fall and he wouldn’t move him against anything. Stiles hummed and held on tighter to him, his fingers playing with the fabric they were holding onto before he let go to press the palm of his hand against Derek’s shirt and slide it to his back.
There was a loud bang – probably the door – and then Derek’s arms were circling his waist, while Stiles had gone back to consistently producing small content noises.

Suddenly there was a rustling noise at his back and he frowned, trying to look over his shoulder the second Derek pulled back a bit and released his lips. Something was pressing against his back now and he was curious. It did feel strange and he couldn’t even determine what shape it had. Obviously Derek was holding something that rustled if you pressed it against other people’s backs.
His attempt at looking over his shoulder was short-lived and didn’t get to be much more than a thought, because Derek’s lips were back on his and he decided that he could wait a moment longer until he found out what was being held against him. It was just a quick kiss, but it was in no way worse than the one before. It was nice and affectionate in a way that he wouldn’t have guessed that Derek could be.
Stiles breathing was elevated and a goofy, blissful smile on his face. He licked his lips that tasted like Derek and contemplated to kiss him again before he looked when suddenly there were flowers in his face and he blinked slow and confused, staring at them like he had never seen flowers before in his life.
They weren’t literally in his face, but right in front of him, in the space that was still left between them and blocking the sight to Derek’s face. Stiles’ mouth dropped open while he still stared. Roses. White roses. They were admittedly really beautiful. “Uh…”, he blinked in confusion when Derek’s next words seemed to try and make sense of the world again. The flowers obviously were for him and Derek hadn’t forgotten Valentine’s day.
It took him a moment to go from surprised and irritated to realizing what was going on and being delighted and irritated. “Flowers. You… bought me flowers.”
The smile on his face started to intensify. Flowers really weren’t among the list of things he expected to get today and it sure wasn’t what he ever would have expected to get on this day either. Flowers usually went to the female population on this planet and as much as that made him feel awkward he couldn’t deny that there was a bigger part of him that was actually stupidly happy about the fact that Derek had bought him something this ridiculous because it was Valentine’s day. Irritation vanished fast and made room for excitement and happiness. “Wow. Okay. Uh, thanks.”
He reached out to take them from him before he could get the idea he didn’t appreciate them enough and held up the chocolates he had in return. “You too.”
